By now I’m sure you’ve heard of all of the Juvia’s Place palettes. If not, then I don’t know where the hell you’ve been hiding, cause instagram has been booming with makeup posts using their palettes. And I just recently got my hands on a couple of them. I don’t know what took me so long (besides just being cheap and straight up not wanting to dish out money on makeup lol).
The two palettes I got were the Nubian 2 and The Magic Palette. Both are absolutely amazing! Like I literally have not owned an eye shadow palette like this in my whole run playing with makeup. They are so pigmented. SO pigmented. The colors are so vibrant that it takes little to no effort to have them look good. These deserve a full post and I plan on working on that this week so I can really go more in depth about how bomb they really are.
For today I wanted to come share a look that I just created with the Magic Palette recently.
Makeup is about balance. When the eye makes a statement, the lips should be quiet. – Francois Nars
This look had no real direction initially. I took the palette out and just started playing with it. The colors work really well together, regardless of the combination of colors that you choose. Since I went all out with the eyes I kept the lips super neutral and nude. Now don’t get me wrong, I can do both, but sometimes it’s nice to let the eyes do all the talking when it comes to makeup.
I’m really excited to keep creating more looks with the palettes, so be on the lookout for more.
HAVE YOU TRIED ANY OF THE JUVIA’S PLACE PALETTES? WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS LOOK?
